About Prism Cloud
Founded 2024 · Jamaica, New York · Prism Cloud, Corp.
Prism Cloud AI is built by Prism Cloud, Corp., a U.S. software company headquartered at 155-36 Jahn Street, Jamaica, New York. We design and operate a spec-driven software development platform that turns plain-English ideas into the engineering artifacts product and delivery teams actually ship.
Our origin
Prism Cloud was founded in 2024 by a group of engineers and product leaders who had spent the previous decade shipping software inside Fortune 500 enterprises, regulated healthcare platforms, venture-backed startups and boutique digital agencies. Across every one of those environments we saw the same pattern: brilliant product ideas getting lost in the gap between a kickoff call and a working sprint board. Briefs were vague, estimates drifted, architecture decisions lived in someone's head, and documentation always lagged behind the code.
We tried to close that gap with the tools available — generic AI chatbots, document templates, more meetings. None of it worked. Chat transcripts were not engineering artifacts. Templates went stale the moment a project started. So we built the planning layer we wished existed, used it on our own client work for a year, and then opened it up to other teams as Prism Cloud AI.
What we believe
Great software starts with great specifications. AI should produce the artifacts senior engineers respect — a constitution, a specification, an architecture plan and developer-ready tasks — not free-form chat that nobody reads twice. Planning is a craft. Speed without rigor is just expensive rework. Customer trust is a product feature, not a marketing line. These four ideas shape every decision we make about the product.
What we build
Prism Cloud AI is a single workspace that takes a one-paragraph idea and produces the same four artifacts every time: a project constitution that captures the non-negotiables, a specification that defines the product, an architecture plan that engineers will actually endorse, and a developer task plan that drops cleanly into Jira, Linear or ClickUp. Every run is versioned, every artifact is exportable, and every workspace is private to the team that owns it.
How we operate
We are a small, fully employed engineering team. We do not outsource core development or production operations. We ship weekly, we read every customer email, and we measure ourselves on one thing: how much faster our customers can move from idea to production. Security, privacy and reliability are owned by the founding team — not delegated to a future hire.
Where we are today
Prism Cloud serves digital agencies, software houses, startup teams, freelancers, product managers, CTOs and enterprise delivery groups across fourteen countries. Customers use the platform to scope client engagements, plan internal product bets, standardize how every team writes a PRD and onboard new engineers in days rather than weeks. We are bootstrapped, profitable on the work we do today and intentionally selective about who we hire and what we ship.
Where we are going
Our roadmap is anchored in three commitments. First, deepen the engineering rigor of every artifact the platform produces, so the bar keeps moving up. Second, integrate cleanly with the systems delivery teams already trust — Jira, Linear, ClickUp, GitHub and Notion — so Prism Cloud fits into existing workflows instead of replacing them. Third, harden the platform for the largest customers, with SOC 2 attestation, regional data residency and customer-managed encryption keys on the path.
Work with us
We are always interested in hearing from teams that take software planning seriously — whether you want to use the product, partner with us or join the team. Write to contact@prismcloud.app and a human on our side will reply.
